Hey guys, it's been a while since my last update and the Tesla lab game "This May Hertz" has been progressing well. We now have a YouTube channel for our production videos and a playlist dedicated to the singular Tesla Coil in particular. So check that out for regular iterations. The in-game Tesla coil name reacts to particular objects and I've recently changed the lighting in-game to better reflect the underground lab feel.

The Changed Lighting In-Game
The new lighting affected the way the electricity looked so that was iterated again to look more realistic.

I’ve also started designing the room and doing the first models for the environment to help set the room.

I’ve also recently discovered (thanks to fellow students) that the Steam VR Plugin has more than one default player rig so I switched out the easy-to-find “[CameraRig]” to the “Player” found in the interactions folder which has helped immensely with picking up objects and interacting with objects outside Vive testing times. Things look like they’re progressing well and our prototype should be ready by the end of next week!
