So it's now at the end of the fourth week of production. The GIFs above are screen-caps of scene mode while Unity is in play-mode. The mini-game for the production I am working on is called "Cure Creation" and is a two-player VR Sci-Fi puzzle game based around the idea of a quarantined scientist (the non-VR player) having to give instructions to a civilian (the VR player) to "hack" the antidote ventilation distribution interface through the decoding of physical puzzles.
All the above GIFs are models, textures and coding I have completed myself with exception to the lightning/electricity which is a procedural particle system from the Unity Asset Store and the static environment (the dome/biosphere) which was created by our partnered animation/modelling team, Alex Wyld, Julian Tate and Jed Casey.
I ended up completing more programming than what was my original intention during this project but I enjoyed learning about the differences in how things operate in VR and also learning how to model and animate. Not pictured above are the hands which I textured and animated (the right hand only, left hand was done by Travis Wood) and the fourth puzzle which was programmed by Richard Tilbury and then edited by me when it was complied into the full project.
Overall, I enjoyed making this game and was immensly proud of the end result, especially considering how much time I spent on it and the short creation time of four weeks.
